We simulate skeletal muscles using OpenDiHu, an scalable open-source framework for neuromuscular simulations.
In our simulations we use multi-physics multi-scale solvers that combine mechanics and electrophysiological model. In particular, we aim to simulate the agonist-antagonist myoneural interface, a novel amputation technique which aims to preserve sensory feedback in amputees.
