Teaser: New Master's lecture on GPU performance engineering starts this Winter Semester
Starting in Winter Semester 2026/27, SC is offering a new Master's lecture, Advanced GPU Programming!
The course approaches GPU programming from a performance-engineering angle: starting from a simple kernel, students learn to reason about why a kernel is fast or slow - memory coalescing, shared-memory tiling, occupancy, and the roofline model, ... - and to measure every optimization step on real GPU hardware rather than assume it helps.
