Industrial Communication for Factories

Projektbeschreibung

Das Leuchtturmprojekt IC4F - Industrial Communication for Factories hat die Entwicklung von sicheren, robusten und echtzeitfähigen Kommunikationslösungen für die verarbeitende Industrie zum Ziel. Bis Mitte 2020 werden 15 Projektpartner aus der Industrie und Forschung einen Technologiebaukasten für eine vertrauenswürdige industrielle Kommunikations- und Computing-Infrastruktur erarbeiten, der auf einer offenen und Domänen übergreifenden Architektur basiert und eine modulare Erweiterung für neue Anwendungen und Kommunikationstechnologien erlaubt. Dabei kommen Schlüsseltechnologien aus den Bereichen 5G, Multi-Access-Edge-Computing (MEC), Cloud-Computing, Virtualisierung, sowie Industrial Monitoring und Analytics zum Einsatz. Der Technologiebaukasten soll es Anwendern ermöglichen die richtigen IKT Technologien, entsprechend der neuen Industrie 4.0 Anforderungen und dem spezifischen Migrationsansatz auszuwählen.
