We are happy to announce that our paper “Blood Glucose Prediction for Type 1 Diabetics using Deep Reinforcement Learning” won the 1st Prize at the 2023 IEEE ICDH student research competition. Over 90 papers were submitted from which 10 were selected to provide a short video and an in-person presentation. The three prizes include additional research grants and travel funding sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF). We are celebrating the great work together with our collaborators from the Duke University (USA) and looking forward to continue the work on improving diabetes treatments using Deep Reinforcement Learning.
