VitaBeat is a research project that explores how music influences physiological responses such as heart rate. The Android-based application combines music listening data with sensor data from smartphones and smartwatches to better understand the relationship between music, activity, and the human body.

The project is currently being advanced within the VIBE (VitaBeat as an Interactive Biofeedback Experience) research initiative. VIBE extends VitaBeat with interactive features such as personalized music recommendations and gamification elements, aiming to actively engage users and explore new ways of supporting well-being through music.

We are currently looking for participants to take part in our user studies and contribute to ongoing research in this area.

VitaBeat is now available as a pre-release on the Google Play Store - contact us for early access.
