Brief Description

ARAMiS is a joint research project with partners from academia and industry investigating concepts and methods for utilizing multi-core technologies to increase the safety, efficiency, and comfort within the domains automotive, avionic, and rail.

In ARAMiS, the IPVS focuses on two research topics: On the one hand, we investigate virtualization technologies for the safe and efficient sharing of resources between several automotive applications. On the other hand, we optimizing mobile applications (in particular, automotive applications) using a mobile cloud computing approach based on virtualization technologies and code-offloading mechanisms.
